    We are honoured to have been appointed Exclusive Agents for this truly unique designer APARTMENT set atop a historic building located at the very heart of Malta’s capital, Valletta, renowned to be an important UNESCO World Heritage Site.
    The Architectural scope of the project was to entirely remodel the pre-existing floor plan to achieve a new functional layout with clean and essential spaces. The key feature of the new layout is a rectangular open-space with two floating partitions, cladded in lacquered panels, that separate the entrance and the circulation from the living area. The larger partition contains the entry wardrobe, the audio and video systems, a wine cooler and storage cabinets, while the smaller one hides the elevator giving access to a wonderful private rooftop terrace. From the open-space, frame less glass doors lead to the kitchen on one side and to the two bedrooms and master suite on the other side. The two smaller bedrooms share a bathroom that looks into the interior court, while the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet.
    Since the original building was not insulated, an interior lining was added on the entire perimeter of the apartment, to bring comfort in each season while efficiently operating the concealed ventilation units. The white plaster of walls and ceilings, combined with the white lacquered cladding of the mill work, is balanced with the warmth of the maple used for the floor planks, for the window frames and shutters, and for a few mill work details in each space. The deep window frames are lit with warm led lighting to achieve a lantern effect after sunset, when the artificial light filters through the shutter’s fins and surrounds each space of the unit. Indirect lighting comes from ceiling coves and mill work, integrated with accent lighting where needed. All mill work, including the kitchen, is custom designed.
    This exceptional residence is being offered with a state-of-the-art finish, as also, fully furnished making it ready to move into. Important to note, that, a brand new passenger lift is set to be installed in the common parts of the building, come January 2022.

The historical main streets, which have now also been pedestrianised, are dotted with restaurants and cafes. They are also home to many branded shops as well as smaller boutiques and a daily morning market, creating a vibrant city life.

    Valletta is buzzing with activity during the day and begins to mellow as dusk sets in and the evening slow paced atmosphere takes over the heart of the capital. Many cultural events are hosted in Valletta due to its unique setting and being home to two of our historical theatres.
